The role requires someone who can manage several competing priorities at once, work with excellent judgement, and maintain strict professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Investment Leader and the broader team, this person will provide administrative and coordination support across day-to-day operations.
- Act as the primary contact for scheduling and administrative requests for the Deputy CIO and the AIA at the Table research team, then assess and prioritize them in a fast-paced and uncertain setting.
- Work with the Chief of Staff to coordinate and plan a large number of meetings, keep calendars current, and decide which requests should be scheduled and when.
- Organize daily logistics, including office coordination, travel planning, and internal or external meetings and events.
- Help manage projects and deadlines so the executive remains prepared and organized across all priorities.
- Maintain records, structure files, and ensure key documents and information are easy to retrieve.
- Support and improve smaller operational workflows within the team.
- Help create and sustain effective communication across and beyond the department, collaborating well while also pushing back when needed.
- Manage confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring strong coordination experience and the ability to thrive in a high-demand support role.
- Significant background handling heavy scheduling or calendar management.
- Strong team orientation, empathy, and interest in supporting senior leaders.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal mistakes.
- Confidence in identifying issues early and working collaboratively to solve problems.
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Work Arrangement
This position is expected to be onsite four days per week at Bridgewater's New York City campus.
Compensation

Benefits and Additional Information
Bridgewater offers a competitive benefits package, which may change at any time in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations. The company aims to support employees in building a strong life and career and views benefits as part of that commitment.
This role is not available with immigration sponsorship. The job description may be updated or changed at any time, and it does not create a contract, guarantee employment, or provide contractual rights, privileges, or benefits. Bridgewater Associates, LP is an equal opportunity employer.
