Role overview
TD is hiring an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders in Toronto, Ontario. This full-time onsite role sits within the Administration line of business and involves helping executives keep day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly.
Working hours and location
The position is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The standard schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is CAD 65,000 to CAD 85,000. The role may also qualify for discretionary variable compensation based on company and individual performance. TD notes that pay decisions may depend on skills, experience, job knowledge, location, and broader business needs.

Key responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars for multiple investment banking leaders and resolve scheduling conflicts with practical solutions.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including support for itinerary changes caused by delays and related meeting rescheduling.
- Handle expense processing for teams and ensure submissions are completed on time.
- Support internal and external meetings, town halls, and offsite events by booking rooms, preparing agendas, setting up technology, reviewing presentation decks, troubleshooting on event day, and arranging catering with dietary restrictions in mind.
- Work with confidential information and may help prioritize executive emails and other sensitive administrative tasks.
- Complete ad hoc administrative work with attention to accuracy, including reports, invoices, communications, tables, charts, and files.
- Keep the immediate team updated on project progress and relevant day-to-day matters.
- Provide temporary or vacation coverage for other colleagues when needed.
- Train new administrative or executive assistants and serve as a subject-matter resource for routine tasks.
- Work independently with leaders and, when needed, collaborate with special assistants or other team members on specialized assignments.
- Deliver professional, high-quality support in every interaction and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma along with more than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and internet-based applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while coordinating information and processes across related groups.
- Comfort working with other executive or administrative assistants and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks, and meet competing deadlines.
- Experience arranging travel and adapting quickly when schedules change.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing executive and administrative priorities at the same time.
- Clear communication skills, including active listening, asking good questions, and conveying information effectively.
- Ability to interpret TD policies and apply them in a fast-moving environment.
- Sound judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
