Job Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to ensure they are clean and in optimal working condition.
• Schedule and oversee periodic preventive maintenance and servicing for all vehicles.
• Promptly identify and report any vehicle faults or defects.
• Manage transportation requests, including coordinating patient transfers between healthcare facilities.
• Provide immediate assistance to patients and visitors, offering directions and wheelchair support as needed.
• Liaise with Maintenance and Housekeeping departments to address any service deficiencies.
• Participate actively in ambulance-related exercises and drills.
• Engage in ad hoc deployment activities such as Forward Medical Team (FMT) exercises and VVIP visits.
• Support the Supervisor with ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at service enhancement.
• Assist the Supervisor in developing manpower plans and duty rosters for transport and other assigned tasks.

Job Requirements

• Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 and Class 4 driving license.
• A Defensive Driving Qualification is required.
• Candidates holding First Aid certification or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification will be given preference.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to cover operational shortfalls.
• Must be able to work a 2-rotating shift schedule.
