Role overview
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring document management processes so that project documentation flows smoothly and remains well controlled across the overall project.
Core responsibilities
- Carry out document management activities within the document management system.
- Review documents formally, including their metadata, in the virtual project space.
- Control and route documents within virtual project rooms.
- Prepare regular status reports on the progress of DMS implementation.
- Support quality management with audits of document management processes.
- Assist projects at interfaces with external partners’ DMS environments.
- Track and oversee final project documentation.
Requirements
- Completed university studies or vocational training in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in project management, preferably in document control.
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of virtual project spaces, ideally SharePoint and tpCDE.
- Good German skills at approximately B2 level and good English skills at approximately B2 level.
Preferred profile
- Experience working with both internal and external project stakeholders.
- Exposure to quality management processes.
