Overview

Inzi Controls Co is hiring diploma trainees for two different functions within its automotive components manufacturing operations: Stores & Logistics and Purchase & Supply Chain. These roles are based in Sriperumbudur, India, with a stated location reference of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Position 1: Diploma Trainee - Stores

Department: Stores & Logistics

This role supports day-to-day store operations, inbound material handling, stock control, and coordination with internal teams and suppliers.

Key responsibilities - Stores

• Receive incoming material, manage unloading activities, and handle materials safely.
• Check supplier delivery paperwork and prepare GRNs.
• Identify materials, arrange storage, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Issue materials to production based on requirement.
• Assist with import material processing and supplier communication.
• Keep stock registers updated and follow FIFO practices.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Help manage materials for new project activities.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications - Stores

• Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Logistics.
• Open to freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience.

Skills needed - Stores

• Working understanding of store operations and inventory control.
• Ability to use MS Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Position 2: Diploma Trainee - Purchase

Department: Purchase & Supply Chain

This role involves helping with procurement, supplier follow-ups, sourcing support, and purchase record management.

Key responsibilities - Purchase

• Follow up with domestic and overseas suppliers for material procurement.
• Assist sourcing efforts for new projects and localized parts.
• Coordinate quotations, delivery timelines, and documentation with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and material availability.
• Support QC activities and localization implementation.
• Assist in outsourcing development work.
• Maintain purchase files, reports, and MIS data.
• Work with Stores, Production, and suppliers to keep material movement smooth.

Qualifications - Purchase

• Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
• Open to freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience.

Skills needed - Purchase

• Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain functions.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working with MS Excel and MS Office.
