Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

Goodman Fielder New Zealand is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to help shape the planning of finished goods and raw materials for its local baking manufacturing operations. In this role, you will coordinate planning activity across the business so customer needs are translated into an executable supply plan.

What you'll do

• Align demand and supply plans with customers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers.
• Monitor supply risks and constraints, and resolve issues such as low stock or dated inventory.
• Share accurate monthly demand information with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate demand review insights and trends to suppliers.
• Prepare regular reporting on supplier performance, category DIFOT, vendor DIFOT, and out-of-stock levels on a daily basis.
• Review inventory each week and work to ensure excess stock is moved through the business quickly.

Contract details

This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave.

About you

To succeed in this role, you should bring a solid background in supply chain and planning, ideally within food manufacturing. Experience with negotiation and purchasing will strengthen your application. Familiarity with SAP and SAP IBP, along with advanced Excel capability, is important. Knowledge of food manufacturing and FMCG environments will be highly advantageous. CPIM or NZPICS qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
