About the Role
Viva Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This contract position focuses on collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights and improve data processes.
Responsibilities
- Gathering and processing data from diverse origins, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Creating and managing interactive dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend data needs and deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
- Overseeing and assessing the performance of current data procedures, suggesting enhancements where necessary.
- Performing in-depth root cause analyses and presenting findings to various teams within the organization.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of data across all systems and reports.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of statistical methodologies and data modeling techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability to articulate complex data findings in a straightforward and understandable manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy standards.
