Role overview
This part-time contract role is for a meticulous Data Analyst who will support a client team by handling customer data requests from start to finish. You will act as the link between business data needs and technical data extraction, turning request details into usable queries and delivering prepared datasets in client-ready formats.
Working arrangement
- Part-time schedule: 15 hours per week
- Contract term: 7 July 2026 to 31 December 2026
- Work style: Hybrid
What you'll do
You will review incoming customer specifications, interpret the requested fields and logic, use internal tools to extract information in an AWS-based environment, and prepare completed datasets for secure sharing. The role also involves validating output quality, meeting service timelines, and helping improve repeatable workflows.
Responsibilities
- Study and interpret customer data requests so the scope, fields, and business rules are clearly understood.
- Use internal systems and query tools in an AWS environment to find, filter, and extract the required datasets.
- Check the returned data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before delivery.
- Package final datasets in standard business formats such as Excel and CSV for secure client handoff.
- Ensure completed work is delivered accurately, safely, and within agreed SLA timelines.
- Look for common request patterns and help shape reusable templates and more efficient extraction processes.
Requirements
- A technical degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to review existing tools and databases and suggest suitable software-oriented solutions.
- Skill in translating business needs into simple, non-technical language.
- Strong understanding of large-scale database processes and management methods.
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Spotfire, or SAS.
- Ability to code in one or more fourth-generation languages, including SQL, ABAP, Python, or R.

Applicants should note that the role is a contract assignment running from 7 July 2026 through 31 December 2026. The position is based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a hybrid working arrangement and 15 hours of work per week.
