Role overview
The company is hiring an Evaluation Engineer for its operations and used-car evaluation function in Sonipat and Karnal. This full-time role focuses on examining pre-owned vehicles, assessing their condition, and producing accurate evaluation reports that help guide procurement and pricing decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out detailed inspections of pre-owned vehicles.
- Assess the condition of major systems and components, including the engine, transmission, suspension, electrical system, body and paint, and interior finish.
- Conduct road tests to judge overall vehicle performance.
- Apply diagnostic equipment and standard inspection checklists to complete technical assessments.
- Spot signs of accidents, repainting, and mechanical issues.
- Document findings clearly in evaluation reports and update the system with inspection results.
- Work closely with procurement and operations teams to support smooth vehicle acquisition.
- Follow internal SOPs and maintain required quality standards.
- Communicate with customers in a clear, professional, and transparent manner.
Technical and role requirements
- Strong understanding of automobile systems and vehicle components.
- Working knowledge of engine diagnostics and vehicle inspection methods.
- Familiarity with vehicle body structure.
- Ability to use OBD and related diagnostic tools.
- Prior exposure to identifying accidental or flood-related damage is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and report-writing ability.
- Must know how to drive both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Valid driving licence for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers is required.

- Comfortable working in field-based operations.
- Should be open to rotational shifts.
- Must be willing to travel within city limits as needed.
