About the Role

We are hiring friendly, dependable Breakfast Staff to support the morning dining experience for guests in Sydney, New South Wales. In this role, you will help set the tone for the day by keeping the breakfast service area organized, welcoming, and well supplied.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the breakfast area before service, including arranging the buffet and presenting food attractively.
• Keep buffet items stocked and replace food as needed throughout service.
• Welcome guests as they arrive, guide them through the breakfast offering, and serve drinks promptly.
• Respond to guest questions about menu items and dietary needs in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Clear tables, tidy the dining space, and maintain a pleasant environment for guests.
• Follow food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times.
• Handle special dietary requests and other guest preferences with care.
• Coordinate with fellow breakfast team members and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly.
• After service, clean and sanitize the breakfast area and equipment, keeping everything organized and compliant with safety standards.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Ability to stay efficient in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive focus on guest satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Availability for early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physical ability to remain on your feet for long periods and carry moderate weights.
