Role overview
This position is focused on administering computer-aided design environments, with primary ownership of 3D model execution activities and the integrity of the project database. The role requires steady oversight of the system setup and ongoing support across the project lifecycle, with limited supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Configure Aveva E3D project libraries, project folders, PML libraries, and the common server-side setup required for project execution.
- Set up and initialize global Aveva E3D / PDMS projects at hub and satellite locations in the capacity of a global administrator.
- Create and maintain projects, users, teams, catalogs, databases, MDBs, roles, scopes, and ACRs needed for project initialization and access control.
- Manage catalog and specification administration in the Aveva E3D Catalogue module.
- Handle customization of UDAs through the Aveva E3D Lexicon module.
- Support customization needs for multi-disciplinary elements within E3D.
- Administer 2D drafting functions for all disciplines using the Aveva E3D Draw module.
- Carry out Isodraft administration for isometric outputs.
- Coordinate directly with users and discipline leads to capture design requirements and project-specific needs.
Experience and qualification
The role calls for a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification, or a Diploma in Engineering, along with at least 3 years of professional experience working as an Aveva Administrator.
