About the Role

This opportunity is with a globally recognized, innovative brand that is focused on shaping the future of play. The position is centered on growing the General Trade business in India, with a strong focus on the fast-growing Quick Commerce channel.

It is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and does not include relocation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the expansion of General Trade performance for LEGO India, with a particular emphasis on Quick Commerce.
  • Help strengthen the brand’s presence across India by improving sales and distribution quality in priority markets.
  • Build productive and long-term relationships with strategic customers.
  • Ensure the right product mix is available and highly visible through targeted campaigns on digital platforms and in stores.
  • Drive growth by executing region-specific campaigns around key occasions.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting across primary, secondary, and tertiary sales at both customer and country levels.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing and Operations in India as well as the APAC region.

Candidate Profile

The role is suited to someone with strong commercial instincts, good analytical thinking, and a proven ability to convert strategy into execution. You should be comfortable working in a fast-changing market and collaborating across functions.

  • An MBA in Sales & Marketing, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in sectors such as consumer goods, FMCG, toys, or consumer durables.
  • Strong capability in strategic selling and negotiation.
  • Solid analytical ability, with a keen interest in data and performance metrics.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Confident presence and excellent communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong solution-selling ability.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
