The job also involves analytical support for commercial decisions, including RFQ review, cost modelling, and broader reporting for internal teams.
The role is designed for someone with a strong analytical base who wants to expand their scope in a fast-growing international business.
Why This Role Matters
As the business continues to grow across multiple markets and product categories, dependable logistics data and clear reporting are essential. This role helps ensure supply chain information is accurate, accessible, and useful, enabling better understanding of performance, stronger cost and service outcomes, and improved decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
You will work across analytics, reporting, systems support, and stakeholder coordination. Core activities include:
- Creating, maintaining, and improving Power BI dashboards for logistics and supply chain reporting.
- Using reliable data and dashboards to analyse freight and logistics costs, performance trends, inefficiencies, and key drivers.
- Making sure reports are accurate, dependable, and properly documented.
- Supporting data cleansing, validation, and structuring work alongside Data Engineers.
- Helping keep reporting logic and data definitions consistent across regions and 3PL providers.
- Designing reports and visual outputs that improve visibility into logistics costs, supplier performance, and fulfilment results.
- Turning business reporting needs into clear dashboard outputs that are practical and easy to use.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in KPI reporting used across the business.
- Coordinating systems projects across supply chain and logistics, including order management tools and API connections with 3PLs.
- Assisting with the documentation of system needs, workflows, and process changes.
- Ensuring systems and tools are aligned with reporting and data requirements.
- Building and updating Excel-based cost models for RFQs, tenders, and business cases.
- Supporting comparisons of freight, warehousing, and 3PL costs.
- Providing analytical support to Commercial and Business Development teams when needed.
- Working with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and external partners.
- Explaining analysis results and project progress clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Handling ongoing data and reporting requests from across the business.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Previous experience in data analysis and business intelligence, ideally in supply chain, logistics, or operations.
- Strong Power BI capability, especially in dashboard design and reporting.
- Working knowledge of SQL and structured datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and cost analysis.
- Experience contributing to reporting, analytics, or systems-related projects.
- An understanding of logistics operations and the factors that drive cost is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-technical colleagues.
