This position requires practical, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting, reporting, and process control.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain complete books of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed assets, within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Verify invoices against supporting documents such as purchase orders, goods receipt notes, proof of delivery, agreements, and approvals before posting entries.Monitor advance payments and provisions so that invoices are received and booked on time.Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closure activities within the required timelines.Carry out vendor reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis.Manage the full import finance cycle, covering purchase orders, shipping records, customs clearance, and accounting treatment.Check import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading or airway bills, bills of entry, insurance certificates, and certificates of origin.Record import purchases, customs duty, IGST, freight, insurance, and other landed costs in the ERP system, including allocation of related costs at SKU level.Ensure correct capitalization and inventory valuation for imported goods.Match import transactions with suppliers, customs brokers, and logistics partners.Coordinate import remittances with banks and support compliance under FEMA and RBI requirements.Track shipment movement and follow up to ensure customs clearance happens on time.Handle GST and customs duty reconciliations for import-related transactions.Support statutory, tax, and internal audits connected to import activities.Process vendor invoices only after confirming the required documents and approvals are in place.Reconcile vendor ledgers and follow up on pending items.Monitor MSME vendors, payables, ageing reports, and advance balances.Manage GST compliance tasks, including GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase data in Business Central.Resolve ITC mismatches through reconciliation and corrective action.Handle TDS computation, deduction, and deposit within due timelines.Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central effectively for ERP operations and control processes.Apply strong Excel-based analysis and reconciliation techniques to support reporting and controls.Qualifications & ExperienceB.Com, M.Com, or MBA in Finance.4 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.At least 2 to 3 years of practical experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is mandatory.Solid accounting knowledge with exposure to statutory compliance requirements.Advanced MS Excel capability, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and reconciliation tools.Experience with ERP reporting and internal control processes.High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Additional InformationThis is a full-time, onsite role based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
