Role overview
Ghanda Clothing is looking for a Retail Store Manager to take charge of the Coolangatta, Queensland store and guide the #GhandaGang. This is a full-time, on-site role built around a 38-hour week with hourly pay rather than a fixed salary.

About the company
Ghanda Clothing began in Torquay, Victoria in the early 2000s with a mission to create affordable, high-quality clothing that was not already available in the market. Today, it is a widely recognised Australian-owned and operated fashion brand with more than 100 stores across the country.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will oversee day-to-day store operations, lead the team, and make sure the shop runs smoothly and in line with brand standards.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of up to 35 staff members
- Embed and model the company’s values across the store team
- Keep store presentation strong and aligned with visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines
- Work with the stock allocator and independently manage stock levels to make the best use of floor space and sales opportunities
- Plan and review rosters, sales performance, and store/team compliance
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership ability, a practical retail mindset, and a strong focus on customers and store fundamentals. Previous retail or hospitality experience is welcome, but the company places greater value on the right attitude and approach.
- Proven leadership experience with a hands-on, front-line style
- Ability to motivate and empower a team while reflecting the organisation’s values
- A customer-first approach and strong grasp of retail basics
- Retail or hospitality experience is beneficial, though not essential
