Python Consultant

Overview

Infosys is seeking a Python Consultant for its Bengaluru East, Karnataka location. The role sits within the analytics and big data technology space and focuses on delivering quality software solutions, supporting client needs, and contributing to digital transformation projects.

What you will do

• Work with client stakeholders as part of the delivery team, with a strong focus on quality assurance, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Gather requirements, prepare and review designs, validate architecture, and help ensure dependable service delivery in the technology domain.
• Take part in project estimation, add inputs for solution execution, and support technical risk planning.
• Review code and unit test plans to help maintain delivery quality.
• Guide team members toward efficient, well-structured code, while encouraging knowledge sharing and compliance with company standards and processes.
• Contribute to building effective systems and programs that support clients in their digital transformation goals.

Required knowledge and capabilities

• Experience with more than one technology stack.
• Understanding of architecture and design fundamentals.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
• Awareness of agile development practices.
• Understanding of project lifecycle activities in both development and maintenance environments.
• Working knowledge of estimation approaches and quality processes.
• Basic business domain understanding to interpret requirements accurately.
• Strong analytical and technical ability, along with effective communication skills.
• Good grasp of the relevant technology and business domain.
• Ability to apply software quality assurance principles, SOLID design concepts, and modelling methods.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
