Project Manager

Overview

An experienced Project Manager is needed for a major, technically demanding assignment in Doha, Qatar. The role offers the chance to contribute to a high-profile project within an international working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of the technical and operational delivery of all awarded work orders.
• Hold complete financial and technical responsibility for every assigned work order.
• Represent the organization in discussions and meetings with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee and coordinate the Works Managers assigned to each work order.
• Make sure all activities comply with HSE, welfare, and quality standards and procedures.
• Track and manage the technical and financial performance of all work orders.
• Identify and plan the resources needed to execute the work orders effectively.
• Contribute to tendering and bidding activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for the client on day-to-day site matters and execution progress.
• Ensure permits are processed and that approved timelines are maintained.
• Support Works Managers in planning, coordinating, and delivering project tasks.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with design coordination involving consultants and clients.
• Support the preparation of project documentation and handover deliverables such as permits, inspection requests, BOQ, ITP, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Conduct technical and commercial discussions with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Monitor project KPIs to ensure all requirements are met.

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering; PMP certification is preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Background in projects valued at no less than QAR 150 million, specifically in a Project Manager role.
• Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and local legal specifications.
• Professional fluency in English.
