Role Overview
Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a temporary Production Assistant to support the Anderson Cooper 360 team within CNN. This position is centered on research-heavy work and helps the team with both creative development and day-to-day coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct research-driven work each day, including talent and intellectual property ideas, story development, and related tasks.
- Assist with organizational and administrative duties for the team as needed.
- Stay adaptable, manage time well, and maintain a strong focus on accuracy and detailed organization.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous development experience or a clear interest in non-fiction programming is preferred.
- Background in research, including the use of online databases, is important.
- Knowledge of U.S. politics, journalism, and the non-fiction television space is expected.
- Strong communication, people skills, and organizational ability are required.
- The ideal candidate is highly organized, inventive in solving problems, works well with a team, and brings a flexible, positive attitude.
- Comfort working across multiple tasks in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment is essential.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay range for this role is $35,360 to $50,700. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Employees may also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, wellness support, life and disability coverage, retirement savings, paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.
