Role Overview

This position is for a Planning/Billing Engineer supporting project planning, billing, cost control, and progress tracking across multiple projects in Bengaluru. The role focuses on financial analysis, project monitoring, and preparation of recurring statements that help compare budgeted, planned, and actual performance.

Core Duties

• Prepare profit and loss statements for projects.
• Analyze direct and indirect costs for key BOQ items and compare actual cost against selling cost across projects.
• Build cash flow projections and statements.
• Create cost comparison reports showing planned versus actual spending for all projects.
• Track physical and financial progress of projects on a daily basis.
• Prepare earned value management reports, including cost variance and schedule variance.
• Carry out rate analysis for major BOQ items.
• Prepare monthly material reconciliation statements for major project materials using Build Smart.
• Perform quantity estimation work as required.
• Monitor cycle time continuously and compile monthly cycle time statements.
• Track RA bill status across all projects without interruption.
• Prepare monthly physical and financial statements for all projects.
• Develop monthly project analysis reports comparing budgeted versus achieved performance.
• Calculate direct cost per running meter for each rock class in tunnel work.
