Network Support Engineer L1

About the role

We are hiring a Network Support L1 professional for Shillong. The position is focused on maintaining network operations, supporting server-related tasks, and handling antivirus services in a day shift setup.

Key focus areas

The role requires hands-on understanding of network management, server administration, and antivirus support. The selected candidate will be expected to respond to system alerts, monitor antivirus server notifications, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day network support activities.
• Assist with server administration and related support tasks.
• Provide support for antivirus services and monitor antivirus server alerts.
• Receive system alerts and take appropriate action.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues through troubleshooting.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Working knowledge of network handling, server management, and antivirus support.
• CCNA, RedHat, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• Ability to work in a general shift schedule.
• Candidate should be based in or willing to work from Shillong.
