Role overview
This position is centered on creating, shaping, and advancing business opportunities in the cloud and security space. The selected professional will work closely with account sales teams and solution specialists to lead customer conversations, understand client requirements, and contribute directly to business growth and account performance.
Responsibilities
- Run the segment plan to achieve and outperform order book and revenue goals.
- Build entry points into target accounts, uncover business needs, and present the value of suitable offerings.
- Develop customer-facing proposals and presentations.
- Share recommendations with sales and product teams to improve offerings and broaden market reach.
- Identify opportunities and guide them through to closure.
- Track the qualified pipeline and support reliable forecasting of deal closures.
- Work with sales, solutions, SMEs, production, commercial, and marketing teams to fulfill customer expectations.
- Translate customer business inputs into actionable insights for solution and product teams.
- Coordinate responses from cross-functional teams and own the final outcome.
- Provide stakeholders with market intelligence and competitive updates.
- Prepare, present, and explain solutions as well as commercial terms to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; an MBA or similar qualification is preferred.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management.
- Ability to sell through a solution-led approach.
- Strong drive for sales activity, follow-ups, and commitment management.
- Prior field sales exposure in technology services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
