Role overview
As a Loadbuilder, you will coordinate transportation resources and create practical, cost-conscious schedules for liquid Irving Oil product loads. The position calls for strong time management and problem-solving abilities to help maximize assets, resources, and product use while following established policies and procedures. Success in this role is assessed through day-to-day delivery execution and the ability to meet both internal and external customer expectations.

Key responsibilities
- Create safe, practical, and efficient daily schedules by applying learned policies and procedures
- Review previous days’ load activity and adjust future plans where needed
- Use technology to collect and respond to information requests from managers, technicians, and customers
- Take responsibility for an assigned geographic area and its performance
- Make timely, sometimes difficult decisions that balance business goals with customer needs
- Anticipate seasonal demand for products and resources
- Deliver results with awareness of financial impact
- Recommend and implement improvements that strengthen performance and support continuous process improvement
Skills and experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and maintain relationships
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making ability, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks at once
- Comfort using computers, along with strong organization, analysis, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Strong customer service orientation
- High school completion or post-secondary education is preferred
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a customer service setting
- Background in analytics or scheduling is required
- Experience in oil and gas is considered an advantage
