Liner Coordinator

About the Role

Wilhelmsen Port Services is seeking a proactive and professional Liner Coordinator to join its expanding team in Poti, Georgia. This position sits at the intersection of operations, sales, and external stakeholders, with a focus on keeping container movements accurate, records up to date, and customers satisfied. The role reports directly to the Liner Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers by responding to their questions and day-to-day requests.
• Handle the verification workflow for customer advocates as defined by internal procedures.
• Track sea freight charges and container deposit-related fees.
• Oversee cargo and transport declarations at Poti Port during unloading and transshipment activities.
• Prepare, review, and manage documents connected to container shipments.
• Manage container control activities, including monitoring empty and loaded containers across terminals, depots, and vessels; confirming container availability for bookings and repositioning; and checking container condition, including damage and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field is expected.
• Strong command of English and Russian, both spoken and written, is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and in a structured, systematic way.
• Comfort with prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• A results-driven approach to work.
