Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Bhopal is centered on designing and delivering landscape projects from the early concept stage through final execution. The selected professional will develop site studies, landscape and planting plans, and coordinate closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and vendors. The role also includes site supervision, quality checks, material and plant selection, documentation, budgeting support, and schedule tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop landscape concepts that are both visually appealing and practical for residential, commercial, and terrace projects.
• Carry out site assessments and translate them into detailed layouts and planting schemes.
• Prepare drawings, presentations, and other design materials for project approval and execution.
• Work with execution teams, contractors, vendors, and engineers to ensure smooth implementation.
• Recommend plant varieties, materials, and landscape solutions that suit the site and support sustainability.
• Visit project locations regularly and provide technical direction during installation.
• Track progress, help maintain quality standards, and support timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Assist with project records, cost estimates, and timeline planning.

Skills and Tools

The role calls for strong landscape planning ability, an understanding of planting design, and practical knowledge of sustainable outdoor environments. Familiarity with CAD-based drafting, 3D visualization, and presentation software is expected, along with good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Project management awareness, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of irrigation and horticulture are also important.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or a closely related discipline is preferred; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• Knowledge of site planning, grading basics, and how landscapes interact with built structures.
• Ability to prepare planting plans with species suited to the local climate and ongoing maintenance needs.
• Experience with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Understanding of climate-responsive design, irrigation basics, and horticultural principles.
• Strong client-facing communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capability to manage multiple assignments, work to deadlines, and maintain accuracy in project details.
• Prior exposure to residential, commercial, or terrace/roof garden projects will be an added advantage.

Additional Details

Location: Bagmugaliya, Bhopal.

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
