About the role
voco St. David’s Cardiff is hiring a full-time Kitchen Porter for its Cardiff Bay five-star hotel. This role is based at a waterfront property in Cardiff, Wales, where the team delivers a relaxed yet attentive guest experience with a focus on sustainability and thoughtful hospitality.
The hotel features a striking glass-fronted design with private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a coastal setting. It also includes Tir a Môr, an in-house restaurant and bar inspired by global cuisines and Welsh seasonal produce, as well as a highly regarded spa and spaces used for meetings, conferences, weddings, and celebrations.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be part of a busy hotel team and contribute to smooth kitchen operations through reliable, high-quality support. The role suits someone who enjoys variety, works well with others, and takes pride in first-rate guest service.
Compensation
The pay is £13.15 per hour, which works out to £27,352.00 per year, plus service charge.

- A genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Prep Chef is preferred.
- Confidence working in a busy kitchen and meeting deadlines.
- A willingness to learn and be part of a broader hospitality team.
