Overview
UBS is hiring a Junior Data Scientist in London to help create advanced AI-driven business applications. In this role, you will work with data science and business teams to design, test, and deploy models that solve real business problems and improve client outcomes.
What you will do
- Work with business partners to identify where AI and analytics can create the most value for clients.
- Contribute to the design of AI and data analytics architecture, and help translate ideas into practical delivery plans.
- Support the rollout and deployment of AI and data analytics solutions.
- Build, operate, and improve LLM, machine learning, and natural language processing pipelines with strong performance, reliability, and quality.
- Help embed AI and ML solutions into key platforms across the business.
- Work on use cases across agentic AI, NLP, predictive analytics, time-series analysis, pattern detection, recommendation systems, OCR, and speech-to-text.
- Explore new technologies and develop proof-of-concepts for innovative AI solutions.
Your team
You will join the IB AI Center of Excellence in London, where the focus is on developing AI products for the Investment Bank. The team builds solutions that help colleagues work more efficiently, reduce risk, generate revenue, and deliver timely, personalized content for clients. This role will help shape the AI direction within the Investment Bank.
