The company is also developing a marketplace that connects businesses in the food and packaging ecosystem around reusable food containers.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore for an IML (In-Mold Labeling) Operator. The role centers on running and monitoring IML equipment used to manufacture reusable food containers, with an emphasis on steady production flow, low downtime, and consistent quality.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will prepare molds and labels, set machine parameters, feed materials into the line, and keep the equipment operating efficiently. You will also carry out routine quality inspections on finished items, spot and resolve basic equipment issues, and perform cleaning and preventive upkeep as part of daily production activities. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will help meet output goals while maintaining product standards.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with practical experience handling IML equipment or similar plastic molding and packaging machines, including setup, operation, and basic fault-finding. A good understanding of production-floor workflows, material movement, and hygiene/safety practices is important. You should be able to carry out visual inspections, identify defects, and follow quality procedures for food-grade packaging. Basic mechanical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions, schedules, and labeling specifications are also essential. The job may require shift work, long periods of standing, and repetitive tasks in a fast-moving environment. Good coordination and communication with supervisors, technicians, and quality teams will be needed. Experience in plastic injection molding, packaging, or food container manufacturing will be an advantage. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and technical or vocational training in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
