Fleet Mechanic

Role Overview

This position focuses on keeping diesel-powered fleet vehicles in dependable working order through scheduled servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair work. The role is based in Jizan, Saudi Arabia, with full-time on-site work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance as well as corrective repairs for diesel engines and fleet vehicles.
• Use diagnostic instruments and testing equipment to identify mechanical issues accurately.
• Fix faults by repairing or changing worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
• Inspect vehicles to confirm they remain safe and perform efficiently.
• Record maintenance actions and repair work clearly and accurately.
• Work in line with HSE requirements and follow workshop safety practices at all times.
• Coordinate with the workshop team to complete maintenance on time and reduce vehicle downtime.

Requirements

• A diploma or vocational qualification in Diesel Mechanics is required.
• Between 2 and 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Practical ability to use diagnostic tools and troubleshoot faults.
• Strong mechanical aptitude along with solid problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable reading technical manuals and working collaboratively with a team.
