Executive N - Plant Engineering

Role summary

This position is for an Executive N in Plant Engineering based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The role sits within the Supply Chain area and is focused on supporting packing-line equipment, machine upkeep, and routine plant maintenance activities.

Qualifications and experience

The preferred educational background is a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation. Candidates should ideally bring 1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Run packing machines and manage filler operations.
• Carry out machine cleaning during changeovers and CIP activities.
• Handle cartoning machines and related operations.
• Work with printing systems such as inkjet, wax, and thermal printers, including cartridge filling.
• Support packing-line machine changeovers.
• Understand and work with safety sensors such as curtain sensors and limit switches.
• Work with PLC systems including Siemens, Allen Bradley, and ABB.
• Maintain familiarity with gear box motors and servo motors.
• Feed packing material into machines when needed.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain 5S standards in the block/area.
• Follow CLRI practices and ensure scrap is moved from the line in a timely manner.
