Executive I - Production

About the Role

Asian Paints is seeking an Executive Level 1 in Production for its Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu facility. This role is crucial for overseeing daily production operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Distributed Control System (DCS) operations from the control room.
• Conduct inspections and authorize work orders.
• Oversee the deployment of housekeeping staff in each shift.
• Monitor and control the crude loop section, including operation when necessary.
• Liaise with engineers to arrange manpower for sections during staff absenteeism.
• Regularly review and sign operator log records for each shift.
• Address and troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet production targets for each shift as per the plan, implementing corrective actions in consultation with senior staff for any deviations.
• Coordinate with engineers for plant startup and shutdown activities.
• Liaise with external agencies for events such as exhibitions, model displays, and safety-related competitions.

Requirements

• Must possess a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with practical experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Educational background should include 10th, 12th, and a Diploma.
• Proficiency in speaking and understanding Tamil is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
