About the Company
Ramelius Resources is an Australian gold producer with a history that began at Wattle Dam and has grown into one of the country’s leading names in the sector. The business is backed by strong cash generation, ambitious expansion plans, and continued investment in technology and exploration. Its workforce is positioned as a key part of that growth, with the company aiming for 500koz of gold production by FY30.
About the Role
This permanent full-time position is based in the company’s new CBD offices in Perth and follows a Monday to Friday schedule. The role sits within the Major Projects team and is focused on building and embedding a modern document management setup. The successful person will act as the subject matter expert for document control and support the introduction of systems and processes that improve how project information is managed.
The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise document management platforms such as PIMS, Aconex, Asite, or comparable systems. You will work closely with teams across engineering, projects, procurement, construction, and operations to create practical document control processes that are scalable, reliable, and suited to both current work and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the document control function for Ramelius and help introduce the process, system, and supporting workflows into the Major Projects team with broader group support.
- Manage document movement and coordination between project managers, project engineers, EPC contractors, consultants, and site-based teams.
- Monitor and progress vendor document submissions, including VDRs, while keeping the Master Document Register current.
- Maintain strong document governance through accurate version tracking, numbering, naming standards, and status management.
- Keep registers, transmittals, and audit records up to date so that documents remain traceable and compliant.
About You
You are methodical, highly organised, and comfortable working in environments where accuracy matters. You enjoy improving systems, building structure, and ensuring documentation is managed in a clear and controlled way. A proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to adapt will help you succeed in this role.
Experience and Skills Needed
- Proven background in information management or document control using a variety of systems for storing, managing, and improving documentation workflows.
- Experience supporting major projects, ideally within the resources sector.
- Confidence to establish document control processes from scratch in a new team, including the rollout of new software.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to produce structured formatting, reports, and templates.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined, process-led way of working.
- A helpful, adaptable, and team-focused approach.
Working Arrangements
This role is Perth-based and runs Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be discussed with the team depending on individual needs.
