Data Engineer

Role Overview

This opportunity is for a data-focused engineer who will take responsibility for data reliability, quality controls, and operational stability within a trading environment in Singapore. The role centers on strengthening the data stack through better monitoring, automation of repetitive work, and improvements to the underlying infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of data quality checks, monitoring routines, and anomaly detection.
• Inspect datasets to uncover issues and useful patterns, then present findings clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Create consistent monitoring standards and help teams adopt stronger operational practices.
• Build automation to reduce manual support effort and increase overall resilience of systems.
• Adopt a metrics-led approach to assess platform health and prioritize operational work.

Technical Requirements

• Primary programming language: Python.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas, Iceberg, Snowflake, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid background in monitoring and observability practices.
