Role Overview

Centurysoft is looking for a proactive content editor to support publishing operations in a busy, fast-moving environment. The role involves working closely with writers and designers to create, refine, and manage content that is engaging, polished, and aligned with the audience’s interests.

What You Will Do

• Review text for spelling, grammar, and syntax errors, and improve overall readability.
• Make sure published material aligns with the company’s or client’s requirements and follows the internal style guide.
• Revise, refresh, and maintain existing content as needed.
• Check facts, references, and other information for accuracy.
• Partner with the design team to create a smooth, user-friendly content experience.
• Work with teammates to generate original ideas and keep content relevant to the target audience.
• Handle multiple priorities and deliver work within set deadlines.
• Use readership data and analytics to improve engagement and retention.
• Apply SEO knowledge and current industry practices to content work.
• Represent the organization at launches, meetings, and press-related events.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, or a related discipline.
• Strong written English with excellent command over language usage.
• Hands-on experience in writing, copyediting, and proofreading.
• Clear communication skills and strong interpersonal ability.
• Strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
• Comfort using desktop publishing tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Work Location

This is an onsite role based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
