About the Role

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Coffee Host to deliver traditional Arabic hospitality in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will greet guests, serve Arabic coffee and refreshments, and help create a courteous, culturally aware, and polished guest experience aligned with the brand’s service standards.

Founded in 1971, Shangri-La has built its reputation on warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences. Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi features 213 luxurious rooms and suites, six private pool villas, and 161 furnished serviced apartments, along with a one-kilometre private beach and a design that blends modern Arabic aesthetics with comfort.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Arabic coffee, dates, and other refreshments for guests and visitors.
• Welcome guests with genuine warmth while maintaining traditional hospitality etiquette.
• Keep the coffee service station tidy, organized, and replenished at all times.
• Assist with VIP visits, meetings, and special functions by delivering professional beverage service.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards while representing the organization in a professional manner.

Requirements

• Understanding of Arabic coffee service traditions and hospitality customs.
• Ability to communicate in Arabic.
• Well-groomed, professional presentation and strong attention to detail.
• Confidence in engaging with VIP guests and senior leadership.
• Capability to work effectively in a busy hospitality setting.
• Collaborative attitude with a friendly and welcoming approach.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and special events when needed.
• Prior experience in a guest-facing or hospitality position is an advantage.
