The Opportunity

An enthusiastic and dependable cleaner is needed for a retail location in Mango Hill, Queensland. This position suits someone who works well in a busy setting, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, presentable, and welcoming for customers and staff.

Full-time shifts are available on a rotating schedule from Saturday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 5:36 PM. Pay will be in line with the relevant award.

Key Duties

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
• Refresh furnishings through spot cleaning as needed
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean toilets and washrooms
• Collect and remove rubbish
• Clean internal and external glass surfaces
• Dust hard surfaces thoroughly

What We’re Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial setting
• Experience working effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow directions and also work independently
• Strong eye for detail
• Good customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and consistent at work
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Flexibility to work varied hours and public holidays when needed
• Exposure to floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage
