Role overview

This is a practical leadership position based in Invercargill, Southland, where you will help deliver civil and construction work to a high standard across regional projects. What you'll do

As part of the Invercargill Construction team, you will take responsibility for coordinating day-to-day site activity, leading crews, and supporting the delivery of civil works across Southland. You will be expected to set the pace on site, maintain standards, and help keep projects moving efficiently.

Skills and experience

• Background in building or civil construction work
• Prior experience in a foreperson or team leadership role is preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and stay organised
• Experience working with crews and subcontractors
• Strong focus on workmanship quality and safe work methods
• Current full Class 1 driver licence; Class 2 would be an advantage
• Hands-on approach with leadership by example
• Dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious attitude
• Good problem-solving ability and sound awareness on site
• Commitment to delivering strong results
• Positive team-oriented mindset
