Role overview
We are hiring a seasoned BMC Helix Developer to support a team that is expanding rapidly. The role calls for deep practical experience with BMC Helix ITSM and/or ITOM, including implementation, tailoring, integration, and administration of the platform. You will partner with business users and technical teams to build enterprise service management solutions that are reliable, scalable, and tuned for performance.
What you will do
- Build, configure, enhance, and support applications on the BMC Helix platform.
- Set up and adjust workflows, forms, filters, escalations, active links, and approval flows.
- Extend ITSM and ITOM capabilities to match business needs.
- Connect BMC Helix with external systems through REST APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Handle platform upgrades, issue resolution, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Contribute to requirements discovery, solution design, development, testing, and release activities.
- Follow ITIL-aligned practices and internal development standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
- Document technical details and assist with production support whenever needed.
Skills and experience needed
The role is suited to professionals with strong BMC Helix development expertise, either in ITSM, ITOM, or both. For ITSM-focused work, experience should include modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management, along with Remedy AR System development and the BMC Helix Innovation Suite. For ITOM-focused work, experience should cover Discovery, CMDB, TrueSight Operations Management, infrastructure monitoring, event management, automation, integrations, data synchronization, and CMDB reconciliation.
Additional strengths that will help include solid ITIL knowledge, hands-on integration experience, familiarity with Java, JavaScript, SQL, or scripting, comfort working in Agile/Scrum setups, and strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Experience in ITSM, ITOM, or both is required.
