About AVIV Group
AVIV Group is one of the largest and most forward-looking digital real estate technology companies worldwide. Supported by KKR and CPP Investments, the company is transforming how property is bought, sold, rented, and valued across Europe and the Middle East. Its footprint spans France, Germany, Belgium, and Israel, and its portfolio includes well-known platforms such as SeLoger, immowelt, Immoweb, Meilleurs Agents, and Homeday.
The company’s purpose is to make high-value life decisions easier by combining data, technology, and human expertise to help people find the right place.
AVIV is building the future of real estate and is looking for someone to help drive that journey.
Role Overview
As Associate, Corporate Development (M&A), you will work with teams across Product, Finance, Legal, and local business units to oversee transactions end to end. Your work will cover everything from market scanning and financial analysis to diligence, deal signing, and the early integration phase after closing. You will also help sharpen investment logic for prop-tech opportunities, support materials for the Investment Committee, and contribute to post-close value creation.
What You’ll Do
- Track market movements, competitors, and potential investment targets across Germany, France, and Belgium.
- Contribute to investment papers and broader market opportunity reviews.
- Create financial models and assist with business valuation work.
- Draft presentations, investment memoranda, and other materials used for decisions.
- Help organize due diligence with internal functions and outside advisors.
- Spot strategic opportunities, key risks, and initiatives that can create value.
- Support negotiations, transaction workflows, and execution of deals.
- Assist with planning for post-merger integration and monitoring of KPIs.
- Partner closely with Managing Directors on strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with founders, investors, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Represent AVIV at sector events and networking occasions.
What You Bring
You combine strong analytical capability with structured communication and practical execution. You should be comfortable building detailed DCF and LBO models, and equally able to translate quantitative work into clear, accessible messaging for non-financial audiences. A proactive, entrepreneurial approach is important, along with the ability to move work forward diplomatically in a negotiation-heavy setting. AVIV values a customer-centric, data-led, inclusive, and outcome-driven mindset.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, STEM, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or corporate development.
- Strong financial modeling ability, including working with financial statements and valuing or structuring investments using LBO, DCF, and comparable analysis.
- A self-starting, commercially minded attitude with strong prioritization skills and tactful negotiation ability in a private-equity-style environment.
- Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams, external counterparts, and senior leaders, including C-level stakeholders.
- Helpful exposure to digital marketplaces, SaaS, or the broader prop-tech space.
- Professional English fluency; German or French is strongly preferred.
- CFA charterholder status, or an equivalent professional qualification, is considered an advantage.
