About the internship

This internship sits within a leading international financial services firm and offers hands-on exposure to credit marketing, research, investor communications, and internal coordination work. The role is designed for someone with a strong finance interest who can support a lean team across analytical, operational, and documentation-focused tasks.

What you will do

Carry out market research, competitive benchmarking, and sector-level analysis to surface trends, opportunities, and key insights.
Support investor relations work such as LP updates, newsletters, presentation material, and fund reporting.
Create, maintain, and refresh internal trackers, databases, reports, and process notes.
Assist in assessing and shaping new product concepts, including securitization structures and feasibility reviews.
Prepare research packs, business cases, and analytical write-ups that support internal decisions.
Coordinate documents, reviews, and communication required for internal approval workflows.
Help manage regulatory compliance-related processes and maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
Work with cross-functional teams to collect information, monitor project milestones, and support operational initiatives.
Review financial, market, and operating data to draw practical insights and recommendations.
Contribute to strategic assignments and process-improvement efforts across the organization.
Draft concise summaries, presentations, and reports for management, investors, and other internal stakeholders.
Take on additional research, analytical, and operational tasks as needed by the team.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work full time from the office, begin the internship between 18 June 2026 and 23 July 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. Applicants should have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the role.

Additional requirements

You should currently be pursuing, or have recently completed, an undergraduate degree from a premier institute, or be pursuing/completed CA, CFA, an MBA in Finance, or a closely related field.
You need strong analytical ability and solid problem-solving skills to work with financial, market, and business data.
Advanced Excel skills are important, including data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
Clear, concise written and spoken communication is expected.
You should be comfortable conducting detailed market, industry, and competitive research.
Strong attention to detail is needed for accurate reports, presentations, and documentation.
The role suits someone who can work independently in a lean, fast-moving environment with limited supervision.
Being able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines is essential.
Interest in finance, investment management, capital markets, structured finance, or similar areas will be valuable.
You should bring strong organization skills and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
