Vulnerability Analyst

About the Role

MSR Technology Group is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Analyst for a contract position in Canada. This role focuses on managing vulnerabilities within a product development context, offering a unique opportunity to work on the product side rather than traditional IT infrastructure. Experience in the biotech sector is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and analysis.
• Implement and manage vulnerability management tools and processes.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to address identified security weaknesses.
• Monitor and report on the security posture related to product vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to product security.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vulnerability management.
• A strong background in security analysis and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with product security principles and practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Blackduck, Nucleus, or AWS Inspector is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a product-centric environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the biotech industry.
• Prior work on the product side of a business rather than IT operations.

Additional Information

This is a contract role based in Canada. While not mandatory, experience in the biotech space and working on product development are considered significant advantages.
