Role overview

Rithum is looking for a Technical Product Manager who can drive strategic product work from concept to launch. In this role, you will build a strong understanding of platform capabilities and constraints so you can turn business priorities into precise technical requirements. You will manage initiatives end to end, from roadmap planning and release preparation through post-launch support and enablement.

You will work across Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success to prioritize work and ship meaningful solutions. The role also requires using data, customer feedback, and market insight to guide product direction, increase product value, and improve adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Product Manager with strategic operational workstreams.
  • Convert business priorities into detailed technical product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans while leading scoping discussions and producing clear written outputs.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and Client Success teams to define priorities and deliver high-impact features.
  • Own execution across discovery, planning, development, testing, release, and post-launch improvement, including roadmap delivery, release readiness, documentation, and enablement.
  • Set up and manage a regular process for intake and triage of enhancement requests and operational work, capturing context, business impact, dependencies, and recommended priority for leadership review.
  • Maintain a prioritized view of the main platform risks and recurring operational issues, escalating concerns early to product leadership to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate timelines, dependencies, risks, status updates, and alignment across multiple cross-functional initiatives.
  • Use data, client input, and market signals to shape product choices and improve feature effectiveness.
  • Own product documentation, release notes, internal enablement content, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support discussions with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify needs, validate use cases, and encourage successful adoption.
  • Apply AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and similar platforms to improve speed and quality in drafting, analysis, prompt design, and documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Management, or technical project leadership within a software company.
  • Background in data, AI, e-commerce, marketplace, pricing, or content optimization products is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering and Data Science teams on APIs, data workflows, analytics, or automation capabilities.
  • Proven ability to turn unclear requests into structured requirements such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation, and to move work through cross-functional teams to completion.
  • Ability to read and interpret API documentation and technical requirements, including REST basics, authentication patterns, payloads, and webhook fundamentals.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with the Rithum for Brands (ChannelAdvisor) platform is preferred.
  • Founders' mindset or strong intrapreneurial approach is preferred.
  • Experience using AI tools for documentation, requirements gathering, or solution building is preferred.
  • Exposure to integration-heavy environments involving APIs and webhooks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with delivery and operations tools such as JIRA, Notion, backlog management tools, documentation tools, and basic data analysis is preferred.
  • Up to 10% travel is required.
