Role summary

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the creation and upkeep of internal systems and web applications used by clients. This is a full-time remote position where you will work alongside senior engineers to build back-end services, connect third-party APIs, and strengthen application speed, stability, and reliability.

What you will do

• Help develop and maintain internal tools as well as customer-facing web products.
• Support back-end service implementation and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Background in software development and software design, with the ability to build solutions that can scale reliably.
• Experience or exposure to team leadership and mentoring in an engineering environment.
• Prior involvement in building an end-to-end SaaS product.
• Experience managing a team independently.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, Java, Python, and SQL.
• Hands-on exposure to tools such as Claude Code, Superbase, Vercel, and Cloudflare.
• Ability to manage projects and deliver software work on time.
• Understanding of distributed systems and high-performance architecture.
• Comfort aligning engineering choices with business goals.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for remote collaboration.
• Interest or familiarity with capital markets or fintech startups will be considered an advantage.
