Site Engineer

Role overview

IHCC is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Site Engineer to support on-site execution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is best suited to someone with an architectural background who enjoys turning design concepts into completed built work. Fresh graduates are welcome, and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience may apply.

What you will do

• Oversee daily construction activities at the site and make sure the work follows approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Check architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals to confirm they are accurate and compliant.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to keep project delivery on track.
• Track construction progress and prepare routine site documentation such as status updates and issue logs.
• Spot technical challenges on site and resolve them quickly and effectively.
• Support compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all site operations.
• Keep detailed site records, including daily logs, material arrival records, and workforce registers.
• Help with quantity take-offs, material planning, and procurement-related coordination.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings at the end of the project.
• Coordinate with MEP and structural teams to ensure all disciplines fit together smoothly.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline and understands architectural drawings, construction techniques, and building materials. Strong AutoCAD skills are required, while BIM knowledge will be considered an added advantage. This role is open to recent graduates as well as professionals with up to 5 years of experience in site engineering or construction management.

• 0 to 5 years of experience in site engineering or construction management.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• BIM familiarity is an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction methods, and construction materials.
