Research and Development Specialist

Role OverviewThe Research and Development Specialist will support molecular diagnostics development work with a focus on RT-PCR assay creation and optimization. This position is based in Vapi, Gujarat, and involves practical lab work, data analysis, and documentation in a research setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, refine, and improve RT-PCR assays used in molecular diagnostic applications.Create and assess primers and probes, then verify assay performance through validation work.Carry out molecular biology procedures such as RNA and DNA extraction, PCR, and RT-PCR testing.Review experimental outputs, interpret findings, and prepare clear technical records.Work with teams from other functions to help deliver projects smoothly and on time.Follow laboratory quality practices and regulatory requirements during all development activities.Keep detailed and accurate logs of experiments, procedures, and research progress.Required SkillsSolid grasp of molecular biology principles.Practical experience with RT-PCR methods.Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.Ability to document work clearly and interpret scientific data.Capability to work independently in a research-focused environment.LocationVapi, Gujarat, IndiaEmployment TypeFull-time, on-site
