Role overview
We are looking for an entry to mid-level Research Analyst who can investigate markets, study data carefully, and turn findings into practical recommendations. The position supports business strategy, market intelligence, investment-related decisions, and wider organizational growth.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out both qualitative and quantitative research across industries, market segments, competitors, and broader business trends.
- Collect, check, structure, and interpret information from internal and external sources.
- Build research reports, presentations, dashboards, and concise executive summaries.
- Spot opportunities, risks, new trends, and strategic takeaways from the data.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market comparisons, and sector assessments.
- Assist with strategic planning, business development, investment evaluation, and operational projects.
- Create and maintain research repositories, tracking tools, and analytical models.
- Track economic, regulatory, technology, and industry developments that may affect the business.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support data-backed decision-making.
- Communicate insights, conclusions, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
- Protect the accuracy, dependability, and integrity of source data and research outputs.
- Help improve research methods and reporting workflows over time.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to research, market analysis, business intelligence, consulting, finance, or similar work is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software.
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SPSS, R, or Python is considered an advantage.
- Ability to draw clear insights from data and present them in a practical way.
- Strong written, spoken, and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Comfort handling several research assignments at once while meeting deadlines.
- Curious mindset, initiative, and a willingness to learn continuously.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
