Project Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a Project Engineer at Larsen & Toubro in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role centers on overseeing construction projects from planning through execution, while ensuring timelines, budgets, safety, quality, and regulatory expectations are met.

Core Responsibilities

• Take charge of planning and executing construction assignments.
• Set out the project’s scope, objectives, and final deliverables.
• Bring together internal teams and external vendors or contractors to keep work moving.
• Prepare detailed execution plans, timelines, and budget estimates.
• Track any changes affecting scope, schedule, or cost and manage them effectively.
• Maintain adherence to safety practices, quality benchmarks, and environmental requirements.
• Review progress regularly and share updates on performance with stakeholders.
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant government or regulatory bodies.
• Identify project risks and put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Keep project records organized and handle reporting responsibilities.
