Play Worker

Role overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Play Worker to support pupils during lunch breaks and help bring the Opal Play approach to life.

What the role involves

In this position, you will support children throughout lunchtime so they can access play resources in line with Opal Play. You will work alongside lunchtime and support staff to encourage active, imaginative, and inclusive play.

Requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Previous experience supporting pupils during lunchtime play.
• Understanding of child safeguarding responsibilities.
• The ability to communicate well with pupils and staff, while helping ensure children can use a range of play equipment that supports imaginative play.
