  • Brief the Munitions Superintendent, Site Manager, and Safety Manager on any risk created by waivers, exemptions, or deviations.
  • Complete risk assessments for weapons safety violations and provide corrective-action reports to site leadership.
  • Stay informed about all base planning and activities that could affect Amentum weapons safety.
  • Take part in quality improvement and risk management decisions covering maintenance, storage, operating areas, handling equipment, weapons system changes, test programs, and training.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
  • Work in office, maintenance shop, or warehouse settings, with potential extended outdoor work.

Minimum requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Working knowledge of USAF Supply and technical order systems, or an equivalent US service system.
  • Working knowledge of mission information systems used for PGM activities.
  • May need to operate material handling equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license from the home country and the ability to secure a host-nation license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience with USAF military munitions, or an equivalent US service background.
  • At least 5 years of combined supervisory experience in USAF munitions activities and MMHE, or equivalent service experience.
  • Meets the prerequisites for a Senior Munitions Inspector under AFMAN 21-200.
  • Ability to attend the USAF Munitions Inspector Course.
  • Ability to obtain and keep a Secret US Government Clearance; US citizenship is required for this clearance.

  • Must be physically able to perform all job duties and lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
