Motion Designer

Role overview

The Motion Designer will create, produce, and hand off animated visual content and motion graphics across broadcast, social channels, marketing, sales materials, and on-site media for TMRW Sports and its related brands. This position partners with internal teams and outside stakeholders to deliver broadcast-level motion content for a global audience. It reports to the Vice President, Brand & Creative and sits within a collaborative creative environment that values teamwork, clear communication, accountability, and bold thinking.

The role calls for strong visual design ability, solid technical capability, independent problem-solving, and the confidence to juggle several design projects at once while also working on your own when needed. Applicants must include a digital portfolio with examples of completed design work; a portfolio link is acceptable and should demonstrate broad design capability.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, build, and deliver original animated visuals and motion graphics for broadcast, social media, marketing, sales, and live event media.
• Plan work effectively so projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Use both creative judgment and technical skill to produce standout visual solutions.
• Work closely with internal and external teammates, leaders, and partners to take 360 immersive video projects from idea to final delivery.
• Present ideas clearly and confidently in meetings and review sessions.
• Stay alert to emerging trends, tools, technologies, and business opportunities that can improve the creative output.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in motion design across multiple formats, including video, broadcast, digital, 2D/3D animation, AR, VR, web, print, and other display environments.
• Prior experience working in the sports industry.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong capability in both 2D and 3D animation.
• Comfort working in fast-moving environments with shifting priorities.
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, each with different deadlines.
• Strong editorial sense for pacing, timing, and visual direction.
• Availability during and before competition hours, including evenings and weekends, with travel as required.
• Preferred: advanced C4D knowledge or experience with an equivalent tool.
• Preferred: familiarity with Unreal Engine and other innovative technologies.
• Preferred: videography and editing experience.
• Successful candidates should be self-driven, open to constructive feedback, effective collaborators, detail-oriented, passionate about sports design, and focused on exceeding client expectations.
