Role overview

Rajlaxmi Solutions is hiring a motivated IT Support Trainee for hands-on work in day-to-day technology operations and user support. The role offers practical exposure to desktop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, network assistance, cloud operations, server administration, system setup, and IT asset tracking. High-performing candidates may be considered for a full-time IT Support Executive position after the internship.

Key responsibilities

In this position, you will help resolve routine technical issues for employees and support the smooth functioning of office systems and infrastructure.

• Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, and network-related support requests.
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Support Windows installation, application setup, system upgrades, and operating system configuration.
• Assist with basic server administration, cloud-related tasks, and management of user accounts.
• Help diagnose and resolve issues related to LAN, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity, and general networking.
• Maintain and configure printers, biometric attendance devices, CCTV systems, and other office IT assets.
• Run system health checks, perform backups, and carry out preventive maintenance activities.
• Keep IT asset registers, inventory data, and technical documentation up to date.
• Support employee onboarding by preparing laptops/desktops, email accounts, and system access.
• Track IT support tickets and work toward prompt closure of user issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs, warranty processing, and IT purchase requirements.
• Record support activity, incidents, and resolution details in proper logs.
• Adhere to IT security practices, data protection guidelines, and backup procedures.
• Provide general assistance with IT administration and infrastructure support tasks.

Requirements

Applicants should be currently studying or have completed a relevant technical course, along with a foundational understanding of IT support work.

• Graduate or pursuing graduation in BCA, B.Sc IT, Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, BE, B.Tech, MCA, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and troubleshooting methods.
• Comfort with Windows OS, MS Office, printer handling, and desktop support tasks.
• Some familiarity with cloud computing, Windows Server, or Linux will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication abilities and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Relevant skills and genuine interest in IT support work are required.

Additional information

This is an in-office internship based in Thane, India, with opportunities relevant to candidates from Thane, Dombivli, Kalyan, and Mumbai. The internship duration is 6 months and the candidate should be able to begin immediately. The stipend ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 10,000 per month. There are 10 openings available. Candidates must be available for full-time, in-office internship work and should be able to start between 2nd Jul'26 and 6th Aug'26.
